RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification.
Requirements:
EDUCATION
Minimum:
Must be able to read and write
English Preferred:
High school degree or
GED LICENSE
PROFESSIONAL
CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Current New York State Nurse Aide Certification.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred:
Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience
SKILLS:
Minimum:
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
