Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care, support clinical staff, and assist with daily activities to promote the well-being and comfort of patients across various care settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing assistance, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be committed to delivering respectful, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs accurately, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and institutional policies Use appropriate patient transfer methods and equipment, including Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, or hospice support Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans Follow aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure safety standards are met Document patient observations clearly and accurately in medical records or electronic health records (EHR) Support patients with mobility aids and transfer devices to promote safety during movement Participate in ongoing training related to emergency procedures such as CPR and basic life support
Required Qualifications:
2 years of experience to provide direct patient care in a
LONG TERM CARE
setting Resume CPR (Healthcare Provider level) Ohio
STNA/CNA
License
COVID-19
vaccination card or exemption TB test must be uploaded within 48 hours
Physical Shift Timings :
Multiple Weekly schedule : 40 Hrs. per week HC1
Pay:
$32.00 - $38.00 per hour
