Qualifications:

Must have successfully completed a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program, or be enrolled and complete the program within four months of hire

Key Responsibilities:

Provide hygiene assistance to residents Assist residents with feeding and daily living needs Perform basic treatments and procedures as directed by the charge nurse Observe and report residents' psycho-social and emotional needs Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in residents' conditions Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance Demonstrate respectful and professional behavior toward co-workers and facility contacts Use nursing home equipment properly and safely Follow OSHA guidelines for handling and storing chemicals and equipment Attend required in-service training programs Assist in other areas as directed by the
