Job Description

Overview 30 hour consumer available in Centerville, Ohio! Must be okay with dogs! Ready to start ASAP weekdays and weekends shifts available! Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide (STNA, CNA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients requiring compassionate, personalized care in their homes and community settings. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential support to individuals across various stages of life, including seniors, those with disabilities, and patients receiving hospice or palliative care. As a Home Health Aide, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality patient care, fostering independence, and promoting well-being through attentive assistance and professional compassion. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Support patients with specialized needs such as catheter care, dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, and end-of-life support while maintaining dignity and comfort. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment conducive to healing and independence. Communicate effectively with clients and their families about care plans, progress updates, and any concerns to foster trust and transparency. Adhere to all safety protocols by practicing first aid and managing emergency situations confidently while ensuring patient safety at all times. Requirements Valid certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), with experience preferred in home healthcare or long-term care environments. Proven experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities or dementia. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and utilize patient transfer methods safely; experience with Hoyer lifts is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration; understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality. Flexibility to work live-in employment arrangements or varied shifts based on patient needs; prior home health agency experience is advantageous.
