Job Description
Show willingness to provide good nursing care. Be considerate, pleasant, and professional in the performance of his/her duties. Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the residents of the facility. Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives. Be sensitive to residents' families and respond in an appropriate professional way as the situation requires Provide patients personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths. Provide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary. ambulating , turning and positioning patients, providing fresh water ad nourishment between meals document actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records. maintains work operations by following policies and procedures. protect organization's value by keeping patient information confidential. complies with the employee responsibilities as described in the employee handbook. perform special tasks assigned by the Administrator and/or the director of Nursing.
