Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a CNA Weekend Warrior, working from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends! (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday) This vital role offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to provide compassionate patient care across diverse settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and home care environments. As a CNA Weekend Warrior, you will be at the forefront of supporting patients' needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques Accurately documenting findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Support patients with specialized needs including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Utilize patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts and other equipment to ensure safe mobility assistance for patients with varying levels of mobility or post-acute care needs Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, families, and patients to promote quality patient service and comprehensive care plans Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols. Premium pay for warrior weekends Requirements Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of practice Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) PointClickCare is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification required Prior experience in geriatrics. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices; physical stamina to stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts Strong caregiver communication skills with an emphasis on compassionate patient service and teamwork Join us in providing exceptional care that improves lives!
