Job Description

Nursing Assistant Job Description Overview To produce an amazing customer/caregiver experience throughout the client's journey with Heart for Seniors. The CNA Float will be in close contact with clients to ensure we are accomplishing the Plan of Care and meeting their expectations. The CNA Float will also function in a CNA role as needed to fill in for vacancies and to also be aware of the Plan of Care and learn more specifically the detailed wants and needs of the client. The CNA Float will then work with the caregivers to provide the training and coaching to implement the Plan of Care for the client and to develop the employee's skills. The CNA Float will provide administrative support to and report to the Nursing Supervisor and assist in daily functions. This is an hourly position. Responsibilities Employee will follow and adhere to the Certified Nurse Assistant Job Description. Participate as a CNA to fill in shifts where there are vacancies. Develop, train, and coach employees in their role as caregivers. Report to the RN supervisor or LPN the experience with clients when filling in for coverage or any concerns or issues regarding the client's medical health or needs. Report to the Director of Operations and/or HR Manager regarding any concerns with home care services or concerns with staff. Overall knowledge of the distinct roles and functions of the office. Participation in individual meetings and monthly team meetings. Periodically conduct quality reviews with caregivers to identify if the caregiver is following policies. Maintain a positive attitude and be open and prepared to accept other duties as assigned, in a Home Care business that is always changing. Respond to on-call timely within 1 hour Requirements Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment. Must display strong verbal communication skills demonstrated by excellent phone skills and follow-up skills with employment applicants, employees, clients, and others. Initiative problem-solving skills and issue-resolution leadership ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Heart for Seniors Website, Internet, Google Gmail, Google reviews Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
