Scheduling & Transportation Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care Position Summary Responsible for coordinating nursing staff schedules and resident transportation to support appropriate staffing and timely resident appointments. Essential Duties Prepare and maintain nursing schedules. Fill open shifts, call-ins, vacations, and schedule changes. Communicate staffing needs and schedule updates to employees and nursing leadership. Monitor staffing levels, attendance, overtime, and coverage needs. Coordinate resident transportation for new admissions, medical appointments, dialysis, treatments, and other scheduled services. Maintain the transportation/appointment calendar. Arrange facility or outside transportation as needed. Communicate appointment and transportation information to nursing staff, residents, and responsible parties as appropriate. Ensure necessary paperwork and information are prepared for appointments. Maintain accurate scheduling and transportation records. Assist nursing leadership with staffing and transportation needs. Maintain confidentiality and follow facility policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications ACMA, CMA, and/or CNA certification preferred. Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent schedule changes. Basic computer and scheduling skills. PCC experience preferred but will train.
