Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks like catheter care, wound care, or basic life support procedures including CPR when necessary Help transfer patients safely using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other patient transfer methods while adhering to safe lifting practices and manual handling protocols Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations during all documentation and communication activities Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and report any changes in condition promptly Provide emotional support and compassionate communication to patients and their families, especially those with dementia or experiencing memory care needs Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program Experience working with diverse populations including geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring Alzheimer's or memory care Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for medical documentation and patient records management Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe patient care Prior experience in settings such as long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), hospice or palliative care environments is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices during patient transfers or manual handling tasks Strong caregiver communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient service and teamwork Join us in delivering exceptional care that improves lives every day!
