Part-Time | Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa | Eugene, Oregon We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) to join our surgical team on a part-time basis. The Position:
The RN First Assist will work directly alongside surgeon , providing skilled first-assist support during aesthetic plastic surgery procedures.
Responsibilities include:
Providing intraoperative first-assist support during plastic surgery procedures Anticipating the surgeon's needs and maintaining an efficient surgical environment Assisting with exposure, retraction, tissue handling, hemostasis, and suturing within the RNFA's scope of practice Maintaining strict sterile technique and adherence to infection-control standards Assisting with patient positioning, preparation, and surgical safety protocols Collaborating closely with the surgeon, anesthesia team, and surgical staff Supporting appropriate preoperative and postoperative patient care Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, professionalism, confidentiality, and patient care
Qualifications:
Current Oregon RN license in good standing RN First Assist certification/credentialing appropriate to the position Current BLS certification Previous operating-room and first-assist experience required Plastic surgery experience strongly preferred Excellent knowledge of surgical anatomy, instrumentation, and sterile technique Strong clinical judgment and ability to anticipate the surgeon's needs Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:
Part-time, based on the practice's surgical schedule and operative volume.
Pay:
$85.00 - $100.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
