- 3x12s, 36 hours /week Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. Recognize the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality. Convey empathy and compassion to those experiencing grief, pain or trauma. Report to other staff members about any changes in patient condition. Relate to others in a manner that creates a sense of teamwork and cooperation. Communicate effectively and therapeutically with people from every socioeconomic background. Incorporate guest relations into daily activities. Able to provide a CNA level of patient care, age specific, cultural, physical and psychosocial wellbeing. The employee supports the hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures. Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position (reference program education curriculum). Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current, valid, and unrestricted OR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. High School graduate/GED. BLS certificate. CRASE training. If travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period, CRASE training will be required. Previous experience as ward clerk with computerized order entry and CNA providing direct care, computer experience. Bilingual and/or English Spanish speaking preferred. Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .
BLS, N95
fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
