Job Summary Join our dedicated home care team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in clients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily activities, and support co-workers and the client's family in delivering high-quality health services. Responsibilities Deliver personalized patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Ensure patient safety through proper manual handling practices, safe lifting techniques, and adherence to infection control protocols Communicate effectively with client, familiy, and co-workers to provide updates on patient status and address individual needs Assist with specialized care for a client with global developmental delay and epilepsy. Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) efficiently Qualifications Valid CNA certification or HHA certification required; additional certifications such as CPR/BLS are highly valued Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, or home care settings Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and demonstrate manual handling skills in accordance with safe lifting practices Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred Strong communication skills paired with compassionate caregiving attitude to foster trust and comfort among patients Join us in providing exceptional care that enriches lives!
