Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide support in the care of patients with specific needs, including those in ICU or requiring hospice care. Help transport patients within the facility while ensuring their safety. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and needs. Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with medical protocols. Assist with mobility and lifting of patients as required to facilitate their comfort and safety. Skills CNA Proficient understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate patient needs. CNA Experience or familiarity with geriatrics, infectious disease care, and hospice care is highly desirable. CNA Ability to work within a Level II Trauma Center environment while adhering to safety standards. CNA Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families. Competence in using healthcare systems for documentation and patient management. Physical stamina to lift patients and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods. A compassionate approach towards patient care that prioritizes dignity and respect.
