Position Summary To perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, while maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents. Position Responsibilities Assists residents with activities associated with daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, collecting specimens, applying dressings, walking and/or other exercise routines, and repositioning bedridden individuals, alone or with assistance. Assures physical comfort and mental well-being of all residents. Prepares residents for meals and snacks and assists with distributing food trays. Feeds residents based on need and disability. Observes residents' conditions and documents and reports changes. Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Certification:
Current Nurse Aide Certification required.
Experience:
Prior long term care or geriatric experience is helpful.
