Sisters of Divine Providence is seeking compassionate, dedicated Full-Time Nursing Assistants to join our team at St. Joseph?s Center in Allison Park, PA. We are currently hiring for rotating 7:00 a.m.?3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.?11:00 p.m. shifts. At Sisters of Divine Providence, you will be part of a caring community where your work has a meaningful impact every day. St. Joseph?s Center, our skilled nursing division, provides compassionate, quality, individualized care to the religious members who reside there. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the daily needs of our residents while helping create a warm, respectful, and homelike environment where they feel valued, comfortable, and cared for.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate assistance with personal hygiene, including bathing, showers, whirlpools, and bed baths, with special attention to individual skin care needs. Assist residents with ambulation, mobility, positioning, and activities that promote independence and well-being. Provide support with personal belongings, clothing, and laundry needs. Make beds and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming resident environment. Assist residents with morning routines, including getting dressed and ready for Mass, as well as providing additional support based on individual needs. Encourage and assist residents with activities that promote engagement, activity, and quality of life. Assist in the dining room during meals, providing support and companionship to residents.
