THE ASSIGNMENT

Provide direct resident care within a long-term care / skilled nursing environment while supporting resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Certified Nursing Assistants assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. CNAs also take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output and provide mobility, transfer, repositioning, and ambulation assistance. Additional responsibilities include observing and reporting changes in residents' physical or mental condition, maintaining accurate documentation and charting, supporting infection-control and safety procedures, assisting with meal setup and hydration monitoring, and maintaining clean and safe resident environments. CNAs provide compassionate emotional support, respond promptly to resident needs and call lights, assist with restorative and rehabilitation programs as directed, follow established care plans and facility procedures, and communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.

REQUIRED 1-2

years of current/recent CNA experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility

REQUIRED

Current BLS or CPR certification

REQUIRED COVID-19

vaccination or applicable exemption

Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation

REQUIRED
