CNA Trainee Class Starting June 8

Company Overview The Lutheran Home at Kane is a 90 bed skilled nursing facility located in Kane, PA. We pride ourselves on providing our residents with superior nursing care in a safe, home-like atmosphere. Summary We are seeking dedicated individuals interested in becoming Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). Our program runs from June 8, 2026 to July 1, 2026 and the deadline to apply is May 22, 2026. 120 hours of training are provided across 17 days consisting of clinical and classroom learning. Graduates of the training program are guaranteed a position after passing the required exams. Responsibilities (Upon successful completion of CNA course and required exams) Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. Assist with medication administration as directed by nursing staff. Maintain cleanliness and safety within the resident's environment. Participate in resident care planning and contribute to team meetings. Support residents with mobility and physical therapy exercises. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient care. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients.
