Responsibilities What You'll Do As a Pediatric Nurse Technician (CNA/Medical Assistant) Assist children with bathing, dressing, toileting, positioning, mobility, and other activities of daily living Support safe transfers using beds, wheelchairs, lifts, and other assistive equipment Help prepare children for meals and provide feeding assistance according to individual care plans Obtain vital signs and perform additional clinical support duties after training and competency validation Assist with range-of-motion activities and ostomy care within the position's approved scope Observe children closely and promptly report changes in condition to the supervising nurse Document care, meals, activities, and other required information in the medical record Support activities that promote physical, emotional, developmental, and social well-being Help maintain a clean, organized, comfortable, and age-appropriate living environment Collaborate with nursing, therapy, respiratory, activities, and other team members Assist with transportation and accompany children to appointments when assigned From Up to Qualifications Qualifications to be a

Required:

High school diploma or GED At least 21 years of age Current CPR and First Aid certification Current, valid driver's license Patience, empathy, flexibility, and an interest in supporting children with a range of medical and developmental needs Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 35 pounds as required by the position This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
