Position Available:
Full Time (Night Shift); 4:45PM-5:15AM; two days per week & every other weekend/holiday Location- The Apostle Center for Care, 56-bed
Skilled Nursing Facility Base Pay:
Determined based upon years licensed and experience. Newly licensed CNA's start at $18; Plus applicable shift & weekend differentialsShift/Weekend Differentials:
$1.50 additional from 3:00pm-11:00pm $0.75 additional from 11:00pm-7:00am $1.25 additional on Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)Essential Job Responsibilities and Objectives:
Maintain an organized, neat, safe, secure, comfortable environment for every resident. Utilize Point of Care and care plan to provide resident care. Adhere to instructions issued by the Licensed Nursing Staff/Household Coordinator and perform duties in accordance with established Homestead Village routines, methods and techniques, and in compliance with Homestead Villages' policies, procedures, standards and practices. Work alone or as a team giving total care or assist residents with bathing and hygiene. Ambulatory transferring, positioning by using assistive devices such as a walker, wheelchair, mechanical lifts, gait belt or assigned therapeutic devices as directed on resident care plan. Answer call "bells" promptly regardless of assignment. Collect data such as temperatures, pulses, respirations, blood pressures and record onto data sheet daily. Record care as provide during the shift such as ADL's and ambulation. Assist residents with dining needs (this includes assisting in country kitchen), maintain intake and output as requested, weigh resident as instructed. Observe residents and reports physical and/or behavioral changes immediately to charge nurse. Interact tactfully, respectfully and cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and the entire staff throughout the organization. Perform all resident care as assigned and according to Homestead Village nursing department's policies and procedures. Participate in activities for residents as directed. Wash residents' personal laundry as needed. Perform cleaning and all other duties as assignedBenefits:
