This dual-role position provides flexible support as an aide across both the Operating Room (OR) and Sterile Processing Department (SPD). Under the guidance and supervision of the surgical team and SPD leadership, the OR/SPD Aide plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of surgical services. The Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department Aide is responsible for supporting the clinical team by performing essential tasks such as preparing the operating room, assisting with patient positioning, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment, and maintaining a sterile and organized environment. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, maintaining a sterile environment, supporting equipment readiness, and managing surgical instruments and supplies. The role also includes assisting with patient transport, environmental cleaning, and compliance with infection control protocols.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
(S): High School Diploma or equivalent required. AHA BLS required prior to orientation completionPREFERRED QUALIFICATION
