A Nursing Assistant provides hospital and nursing home patients with basic care and assists them with daily activities. Helps patients with dressing, washing, and feeding. May perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require completion of a regional agency-approved training program in order to obtain a certification before practicing.
Day Shift/Night Shift The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide direct patient care and support services. This role involves delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to patients with behavioral, mental health, and medical needs in a residential long-term care or skilled nursing facility. The CNA will assist therapeutic staff, monitor patient health, document observations, and promote a safe, respectful, and recovery focused environment. Provide direct patient care and support to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff Monitor and document vital signs and other health-related observations Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents Protect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality Participate in orientation, training, and continuing education programs Assist with meal preparation as needed Follow all facility, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures High School Diploma or GED Current Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification/Registration Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association compliant) Minimum of 6 months experience as an Aide Trainee or 1 year of paid experience caring for geriatric, long-term care, or medically complex patients

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Ability to collect, organize, record, and communicate medical data effectively. Knowledge of medical conditions, growth and development patterns, and behavioral health considerations. Read and follow instructions. Demonstrate safe work behavior. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently.
