Part-Time/PRN At Medi Home Health & Hospice, part of the Medical Services of America family, we believe hospice care is about more than just services—it's about presence, compassion, and purpose. We are currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Hospice Aide to join our team in the State College area and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. As a CNA with our hospice team, you'll play a vital role in providing hands-on care and comfort to those at the end of life. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Case Manager and Clinical Manager, you'll ensure that patients receive compassionate, high-quality support in the comfort of their own homes.What You'll Do:
- Deliver personal care services including bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, and respiration).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Ensure proper nutrition and hydration, including meal preparation and feeding assistance.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
- Apply safety principles and proper body mechanics when assisting with mobility.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow established procedures.
What You Bring:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide certification in Pennsylvania.
- At least 1 year of experience providing personal care (hospice or home health experience preferred).
- A compassionate and patient-focused mindset.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
