Description:
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nurse Aide specializing in residents diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Spina Bifida, and other neuromuscular disorders. We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality support to patients with neuromuscular conditions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Monitor and report changes in patients' condition, including neurological and muscular status Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients Document patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures at all times

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required Experience with Mechanical Lifts or a willingness to learn how to use Prior experience working with neuromuscular patients preferred Knowledge of neuromuscular disorders and related care techniques preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Compassionate, patient-focused, and attentive to detail Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and maintain patient safe
