Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in our Long Term Care setting. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring comfort and safety for individuals with diverse needs. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients. Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs. Maintain patient hygiene by performing catheter care and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Support nursing staff in critical care settings by providing assistance during procedures and treatments. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient service.
