Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)

Job Description

JOB DETAILS A
Certified Nursing Assistant, or Certified Nursing Aide, is responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Their duties include helping patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene, feeding patients or ensuring they take their medication and assessing their patients' vital signs to notify staff of any changes. C.N.A.'s can work in a variety of settings includes camps, clinics, schools, and ambulatory care centers but typically work at a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
Education/Requirements:
High School education is required along with completion of a state approved formal training program. CPI certification is sometimes required •Per diem. 1-2 years experience.
Required certs:
CNA, CPR.
Unit Ifno:
19 beds, ratio up to 1:8, EHR is Pinpoint, Common diagnosis is CVA, multitrauma, fractures.
