Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including, subacute, long-term care and vent units. Your energetic approach will help foster a supportive atmosphere for patients of all ages and conditions, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and patient service, with experience in diverse clinical areas such as geriatrics, behavioral health. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while advancing your healthcare career. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices. Monitor and record vital signs accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to ensure precise documentation of patient status. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support. Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols. Qualifications Valid CNA certification with current state licensure. Experience working Skilled Nursing Facility a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient safety standards such as HIPAA compliance. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges across settings like assisted living or home & community care. Critical care experience or background in emergency medicine is highly desirable. Strong caregiving skills complemented by excellent communication and teamwork abilities to support senior care, pediatrics, behavioral health, and post-acute care needs.
