Carlyle Senior Care of Aiken Duties Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status accurately Support medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols Facilitate patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling practices are followed at all times Maintain detailed medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while respecting patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition promptly to the nursing team for appropriate action Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory support, and behavioral health interventions to enhance quality of life Requirements Valid CNA certification recognized by state licensing authorities with current registration or licensure Demonstrated experience working with geriatric patients in long-term care facilities or senior living environments Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic nursing procedures including catheter care and aseptic techniques Ability to operate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently for accurate documentation Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare team members Physical stamina for heavy lifting, safe manual handling practices, and prolonged periods of standing or walking Knowledge of infection control protocols and experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs is preferred Join us in delivering exceptional senior care that emphasizes compassion, respect, and professionalism.
