Responsibilities Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring personalized and respectful care. Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or social activities to help clients maintain their routines. Deliver comprehensive home care services tailored to each individual's requirements. Support clients with developmental disabilities and other disabilities by implementing specialized care plans. Foster a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in client condition. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and consistent care. Skills Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to assist others. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is preferred. Ability to perform personal care tasks with sensitivity and professionalism. Reliable transportation and the ability to assist clients with personal transportation needs. Flexibility to work various shifts according to client needs and personal availability. Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing situations.
