Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver or Nursing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a nursing home or memory care facility, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, particularly with patients who have dementia or disabilities, and will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Provide medication administration as directed by nursing staff. Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team. Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring them safely. Engage with patients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Uphold the dignity and respect of all patients while providing compassionate caregiving. Requirements Previous experience in senior care, nursing homes, or memory care preferred. Ability to lift and assist patients as required by their individual needs. Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents. Certification as a Nursing Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required.
