Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including home community care, nursing homes, and inpatient facilities. The Nursing Assistant will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide catheter care and assist with other personal hygiene needs. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Support patients with infectious disease care protocols as needed. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively. Utilize PCC or similar electronic health record systems for documentation and communication. Foster a supportive environment that promotes patient dignity and respect. Experience Must be SC Certified Nursing Assistant Previous experience in caregiving or patient care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with home community care settings or nursing home environments is a plus. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures related to patient care. Experience working with electronic medical records systems such as Cerner is advantageous. Understanding of infection control practices and safety protocols in healthcare settings.
