Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and nutrition support Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; document findings accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper handling of medical supplies and equipment Utilize specialized skills such as phlebotomy or catheter care when required to enhance patient comfort and safety Implement infection control practices following aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and prevent disease transmission Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids to facilitate safe transfers and prevent injury Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings such as hospitals (including ICU, emergency medicine, trauma centers), outpatient clinics, or community-based programs to coordinate comprehensive care plans Provide compassionate support for individuals with complex conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's disease, behavioral health needs, or developmental disabilities Valid CNA certification with current licensing in the state of employment Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care agencies Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs monitoring Hands-on experience with specialized care techniques including dementia care, hospice support, ICU procedures, or pediatric (pediatrics) patient care is highly desirable Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) certification and adhere to infection prevention protocols Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward patients of all ages and backgrounds Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact through attentive caregiving!
