Job Description

Come Work for the Region's Most Trusted Hospice Care Provider! Hospice & Community Care of Rock Hill, SC is actively hiring a Hospice CNA!
Shift Details:
Full Time (Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30pm) The Hospice CNA provides direct patient care to hospice patients residing in and around the Rock Hill, SC region.
What You'll Do:
Under the direction and ongoing supervision of the registered nurse: Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients according to the individualized plan of care. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition to the hospice nurse. Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Maintain patient dignity, comfort, and safety at all times. Travel between assigned patient residences throughout the workday. Complete documentation accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with hospice team members and facility staff. Maintain required competency and skills.
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma or GED Valid South Carolina Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) certification Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle Current automobile insurance Ability to travel between multiple locations throughout the day Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor Experience in healthcare, home care, or hospice setting is preferred, but not required Key Benefits of Joining our

From $16.88 per hour

Physical Setting:
Outpatient Application Question(s): Do you have reliable personal transportation available for daily travel between patient locations? Are you able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM? Are you comfortable traveling throughout our service area (up to 1 hour from Rock Hill, SC) to multiple assisted living and skilled nursing facilities each day? The payrate for this position is $16.88 per hour. In addition to hourly pay, there is mileage reimbursement ($0.52/mile), visit bonuses, and quarterly $500 retention bonuses starting after 6 months.
