Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, resident-centered care and support to assigned residents, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The CNA works closely with the nursing team to deliver care in accordance with each resident's individualized care plan and established facility standards. Key Responsibilities Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team. Support residents in maintaining their highest level of independence and well-being. Answer call lights and respond to resident needs in a timely and professional manner. Assist with meal service, hydration, and recreational activities as needed. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents. Document care provided according to facility policies and procedures. Qualifications Required Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license in accordance with state regulations. Compassionate approach to resident care with a commitment to dignity and respect. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Preferred Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings. Experience caring for geriatric and veteran populations.
