Job Summary:
Prairie Heights Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity Monitor vital signs, report changes to licensed nurses, and assist with range-of-motion exercises Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, families, and caregivers Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment Participate in in-service training and educational programs to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of South Dakota High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
