Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Caregiver to join our team on weekends from 8 AM to 5 PM. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing exceptional personal care and support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient observation, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and maintaining a safe, clean environment for those in need of assistance. Responsibilities Provide attentive personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and observe patients for changes in condition, reporting any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals. Assist with medication administration and ensure adherence to care plans tailored to individual needs. Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning patient areas and laundry. Utilize proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques, including the use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold residents' rights at all times. Requirements Valid CNA certification or equivalent caregiving experience with a focus on senior or home care. Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other neurodevelopmental disorders is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, vital signs measurement, and basic first aid/CPR certification. Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while maintaining client dignity. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically with clients and their families. Familiarity with care plans, medication management, and documentation protocols such as HIPAA compliance. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
