Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a long-term care and rehabilitation facility. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents, primarily focusing on geriatric patients. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring long-term support and rehabilitation services. The CNA will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Support patients with their nutritional needs, including meal assistance and feeding when necessary. Monitor and document patient conditions accurately, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations at all times. Work closely with the healthcare team to implement care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Assist with repositioning patients to prevent bedsores and promote comfort. Support patients during activities and engage them in social interactions to promote well-being. Ensure safety protocols are followed, including CPR certification when required, and respond promptly to emergencies. Requirements Prior experience working in a long-term care or rehabilitation facility is preferred. Proven ability to provide compassionate patient care, especially working with geriatric populations. Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it upon hire. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks associated with patient care. Pay:
From $18.50 per hour
