Job Description
$20.00 per hour (1099 Independent Contractor) Position Summary Eagle Care TN is seeking compassionate and dependable Non-Medical Caregivers / Homemakers to provide in-home support services that help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This role is strictly non-medical and performed as a 1099 independent contractor . Primary Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including: Bathing and personal hygiene Dressing and grooming Toileting and incontinence care Mobility assistance and safe transfers (use of assistive devices such as gait belts or Hoyer lifts only if trained and authorized ) Provide companionship and emotional support , including: Conversation and social engagement Cognitive stimulation and redirection for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's Support for behavioral or memory-related challenges Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) : Light housekeeping Laundry Meal preparation and hydration reminders Grocery shopping and essential errands Medication reminders only (no administration) Promote a safe and clean home environment using infection prevention and safety practices Observe, document, and report changes in client condition or safety concerns to Eagle Care TN Accurately document services provided using Eagle Care TN's approved system Communicate professionally with clients, families, and agency staff Required Skills & Qualifications Compassionate, dependable, and client-focused Ability to work with seniors, Veterans, and individuals with disabilities Experience or willingness to work with clients with dementia or cognitive impairments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow care plans and agency guidelines Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Preferred Qualifications Prior experience as a caregiver, homemaker, HHA, CNA, or personal support worker Familiarity with safe transfer techniques or assistive devices (training available) Home care or community-based services experience Why Work With Eagle Care TN?
