Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer devices Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Provide specialized care for patients with memory impairments, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease, utilizing techniques like memory care strategies and aseptic techniques for infection control Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, wound dressing changes, and basic life support (BLS) when needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings like Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers, ICU units, PICUs (Pediatric Intensive Care Units), or emergency departments to deliver timely patient service Maintain accurate medical documentation and records while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and safety protocols Skills Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals (medical-surgical, ICU, emergency medicine), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and infection control practices such as aseptic technique Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient record management Experience with specialized patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients or individuals with disabilities Ability to perform catheter care, vital signs monitoring, medication administration and basic life support efficiently and accurately Demonstrated compassion in caregiving roles involving dementia care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams across outpatient clinics or inpatient units Join us in delivering compassionate healthcare that truly makes a difference!
