Arlington, TX 76015
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Full-Time)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for a client in Arlington. This role focuses on personal care support, mobility assistance, and working alongside a skilled nursing team to ensure the client's comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide mobility support, including use of sit-to-stand equipment (also functions as a Hoyer lift) Reposition/turn client every 2 hours to prevent pressure injuries Assist with meal preparation and light support during mealtimes Support wound care by following care instructions provided by the Registered Nurse (wound care nurse visits 2-3 times per week) Monitor and report any changes in condition to supervising nurse/agency Important Note on
Wound Care:
This position involves assisting with wound care under the direction of a Registered Nurse . Tasks are limited to maintaining cleanliness and following established care plans. All care must remain within CNA scope of practice and agency policy.
Qualifications:
Active CNA certification in the state of Texas Experience with personal care and mobility assistance preferred Comfortable using transfer equipment (sit-to-stand/Hoyer lift) Ability to follow detailed care plans and nurse instructions Dependable, attentive, and compassionate
