Responsibilities include:
Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living Safely assisting with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and mobility Taking and documenting vital signs, weights, and resident observations Assisting with meals, hydration, and feeding when needed Observing residents for changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly Maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Following infection prevention, safety, and resident care protocols Responding promptly to call lights and resident requests Supporting restorative nursing programs and individualized care plans Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
Qualifications Required:
Active Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing Graduate of an approved CNA training program Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable attendance and a commitment to providing outstanding resident care
Preferred:
Previous Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care experience Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply!
