CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Texas Driver's License and current auto insurance
• Reliable transportation and a safe driving record
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with seniors, current enrollment in a nursing program, or completion of a CNA course
• Ability to pass a national background check and drug screening
• CNA certification/training is a plus, but not required
• Dependable, confident, and willing to take initiative
• Experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, stroke care, hospice, transfers, bathing, and dressing is preferred
• Basic cooking skills and an understanding of balanced meals for seniors
• Flexible availability is preferred, but not required We are especially interested in caregivers who live in or near Boerne, Comfort, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, and surrounding Hill Country communities.
