Job Overview Kuno Haus, a new boutique assisted living and memory care home opening in Cypress, TX is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants and/or Medication Aides to provide high-quality, personalized care to our residents. We care for up to 16 residents in a warm, home-like environment where every resident is known by name, routine, and what makes them them. Responsibilities Resident Care Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers and dining support Administer medications Follow personalized care plans for each resident Observe and report changes in physical, cognitive, or emotional condition of residents to Assistant Director of Care/Executive Director immediately Accurately document care and log tasks in an
EMR / EHR
system Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation Complete a thorough shift handoff Safety & Emergency Response Participate in fire drills and evacuation procedures Respond promptly to emergencies, falls, behavioral escalations, or life-threatening situation and manage safe evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency Maintain infection control practices and universal precautions Universal Duties Assist with meal preparation, serving, and clean-up Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment Assist with laundry and light housekeeping as needed Assist with admissions, discharges, and room preparation Professional Responsibilities Maintain resident confidentiality (HIPAA compliant) Complete required initial and ongoing staff trainings Uphold our core values and a positive workplace culture Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and team members Requirements Prior caregiving experience Dementia, Alzheimer's, assisted living, memory care, or long-term care experience strongly preferred Active Texas CNA and/or CMA certification preferred, but not required Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and support residents safely throughout the shift A warm, steady presence with residents who may ask repeated questions or have shifting moods Clear written and verbal communication Comfortable documenting care notes in an electronic health record system Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first mindset Pride in doing small things well, because small things matter deeply in this work Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check
