in Wise County for the last two years. We have been Decatur's premiere location for short-term rehabilitation, post-hospital recovery, and long-term care. Offering opportunity of employment based on successful course completion and passing of state certified testing.
Course Outline:
Total course time | 4 weeks Schedule Mon-Fri | 8am-5p Two weeks didactic (book/classroom) training Two weeks clinical training First class to start October 2026 This is a non-paid student opportunity. Potential pay range based on offer of employment upon completion
Clinical Responsibilities:
Primary purpose as a NATCEP is to shadow a CNA and to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. Properly document resident care. Report all changes in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical. Ensure that the resident's room is ready for receiving the resident (i.e., bed made, name tags up, admission kit available, etc.). Introduce resident to his/her roommate, if any, and other residents and personnel as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Pay:
$15.50 - $18.00 per hour
