Job Description

Overview We are actively seeking dedicated and experienced male caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our compassionate team immediately! This Part-Time position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care. Working during the morning shift from Monday through Friday, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality assistance, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for our residents. Duties Assist Veteran resident with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive disabilities, ensuring safety and comfort Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities diligently Support residents with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and maintaining proper nutrition Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling to prevent injury for both residents and staff Engage in effective communication with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, memory care, and geriatrics best practices Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training is a plus Familiarity with resident's rights and ethical caregiving standards Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely when needed for client transportation or errands Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving Join us today to become part of a dedicated team committed to enriching lives through compassionate care.
