Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, mobility support, and tube feeding to promote independence and dignity. Perform specialized procedures including catheterization, IV infusion, venipuncture, airway management, and sterile processing in accordance with best practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that address acute pain management, dementia care—including Alzheimer's and memory care—and chronic conditions like infectious disease or geriatrics. Conduct diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection/processing, and participate in triage or urgent care assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with healthcare regulations such as NCQA standards and long-term care regulations. Skills Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms for efficient documentation. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and medical terminology to ensure precise patient assessments and treatment plans. Critical care experience including ICU or Level I Trauma Center exposure is highly desirable for managing complex cases. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care. Skilled in infection control practices, airway management techniques, first aid procedures, and basic life support (BLS/CPR). Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages—including pediatrics and neonatal ventilator management—and coordinate with families and caregivers compassionately.
