Days/Hours:
Days to be Determined. 10:00PM - 6:00AM shift.
Pay:
$17.50/hr. Higher pay with experience.
Duties:
Check and record vital signs, blood pressure and temperature.
Measure patient's height and weight and maintain its records.
Observe patient's responses, reactions and changes to medications.
Assist residents and/or clients with bedpans and urinals.
Assist patients with managing nutritional needs by checking food trays, feeding and monitoring food intake.
Help patients with personal hygiene and bathing, providing them with nail, hair and skin care and assist them with dressing and undressing.
Assist registered nurses and doctors in assessing patients' conditions and providing correlating information for care plan preparation.
Collect data regarding patients' diseases, conditions and treatment plans and ensure that this information is appropriately incorporated into their charts.
Loving, caring and treat patients with compassion hearts.
Monitored patients on a constant basis in behavior or conditions and ensure issues or spiked / hiked vitals and inform nurse managers of any findings.
Clean patient rooms replace new fresh linens sheets, blankets for patients on regular basis. Ensure that soiled or dirty ones are sent to the laundry for washing and sanitization.
Respond to calls for assistance from distressed patients and ensure that they are calmed down by following established protocols.
Turn and reposition bedridden patients in a bed to keep them comfortable and ward away the effects of stationary positions. Transport patients between doctors & their rooms.
Qualifications:
- Zero experience as Home Health Aides; OR Nursing Aides, Orderlies, and Personal and Home Care Aides with a loving heart.
- No educational requirements. Employer will train.
- Requires State of Texas Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) must be current.
- Preferred 2 Years of Nurse Aide working experience but not required.
- Required Class "C" Driver's License and Social Security Card.
- English - Good (read, write, speak).
- Must pass background check and drug test. Felony is case by case
