Available Benefits Help for . #HGCY26 The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients within healthcare settings. This position focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. The CNA collaborates closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to monitor patient conditions and report any changes promptly. By providing essential support in hygiene, mobility, and nutrition, the CNA contributes significantly to the overall well-being and recovery of patients. Ultimately, this role is fundamental in enhancing patient experience and supporting the efficient operation of healthcare services. Completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant training program.

Valid CNA certification/license as required by the state or local regulatory authority.

Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.

Ability to pass background checks and health screenings, including immunizations.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.

Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.

Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper hydration.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols.

Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, concerns, and changes in condition.

Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.

Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Perform additional duties as assigned Background requirements:
