We are seeking dedicated and motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support our residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while working alongside a collaborative clinical team. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility, while maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect. Observe, monitor, and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration, utilizing PointClickCare documentation systems. Provide direct resident care and assist nursing staff with treatments and procedures as directed. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by following infection control protocols, utilizing proper transfer techniques, and operating equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies, state regulations, and HIPAA requirements. Deliver compassionate care to residents with cognitive impairments, including dementia and Alzheimer's disease, using appropriate behavioral and memory care approaches. Respond promptly to resident needs and communicate significant changes in condition to the nursing team. Promote residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being through positive interactions and quality service. Qualifications & Experience Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Texas. Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to resident care. Experience using PointClickCare or similar electronic health record systems preferred. Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or assisted living settings preferred. Experience caring for residents with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health needs is an asset. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
