Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. We are currently offering a $1000 sign on bonus for Certified Aides. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily activities while ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care or long-term care environments and possess a strong understanding of patient care protocols.Job Duties:
To assure resident safety Assist patients with bathing, shower, shampoo, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Shave, comb hair, appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive environment. Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse Lift, move and transfer residents as required Answer call lights in a timely manner Assist or feed residents Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care Other duties as assigned Adhere to HIPPA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.Qualifications:
Experience in various healthcare setting such as hospital, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities. Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices. Familiarity with phlebotomy techniques and medication administration protocols. Required Certified Nurse Aide. Zero experience as CNA, employer has CNA classes available. Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry. Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English. Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents Strong interpersonal skills for effective communications with patients and healthcare team members.
