Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a rotating schedule that includes weekends off and an additional $1 shift differential to recognize your hard work. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track residents' health status Support residents with dementia and Alzheimer's care by implementing personalized care plans and engaging them in meaningful activities Ensure safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury for both residents and staff Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities accurately Maintain a clean, safe environment through routine cleaning, sanitation, and organization of resident areas Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to promote transparency and trust Requirements Valid CNA certification with current state licensure Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes preferred Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's care, and memory care best practices Experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments is highly desirable Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles for community outings or resident appointments if needed Strong skills in caregiving, client communication, and behavior management Certification in CPR and First Aid is required or obtainable upon hire Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers safely This role offers an engaging work environment where your dedication directly enhances the quality of life for our residents.
